Installing DesignSetGo Plugin
DesignSetGo is a professional Gutenberg block library that adds 47 custom blocks and 11 extensions to your WordPress site. Follow these steps to get started.
System Requirements
- WordPress Version: 6.0 or higher (6.4+ recommended)
- PHP Version: 7.4 or higher (8.0+ recommended)
- MySQL Version: 5.6 or higher
- HTTPS: Recommended for security
Installation Methods
Method 1: WordPress Plugin Directory (Recommended)
- Log in to your WordPress admin dashboard
- Navigate to Plugins → Add New
- Search for “DesignSetGo”
- Click Install Now
- After installation, click Activate
Method 2: Manual Upload
- Download the DesignSetGo plugin ZIP file
- Go to Plugins → Add New → Upload Plugin
- Choose the ZIP file and click Install Now
- Click Activate Plugin
First-Time Configuration
After activation, configure the plugin for optimal performance:
- Navigate to Settings: Go to Settings → DesignSetGo
- Review Performance Settings: Enable conditional loading for faster page loads
- Configure Animations: Set default animation preferences (enabled by default)
- Form Settings: Enable spam protection features (honeypot enabled by default)
- Block Manager: Enable or disable specific blocks based on your needs
Optional Integrations
Google Maps API (for Map Block)
If you plan to use the Map block:
- Get a Google Maps API key from the Google Cloud Console
- Go to Settings → DesignSetGo → Integrations
- Enter your API key in the Google Maps field
- Save changes
Verification
To verify the plugin is working correctly:
- Create or edit a post/page
- Click the + (Insert block) button
- Look for the “DesignSetGo” block collection
- You should see all available blocks organized by category
